Globe Unity Orchestra discography

This is a discography of albums by the Globe Unity Orchestra.

The orchestra was formed by Alexander von Schlippenbach in 1966 to perform a commissioned work for the Berlin Jazz Festival. The initial line-up was primarily drawn from smaller German groups led by Gunter Hampel, Manfred Schoof and Peter Brötzmann. In the following years the group was expanded with both European and American musicians joining the orchestra. The Globe Unity Orchestra and offshoot groups performed and recorded periodically through the late 1960s, 1970's and early 1980's. The final concert of the orchestra was at the Chicago Jazz Festival in 1987.

Reunion concerts and recordings have taken place in the 2000's.
